Bounding Butterflies

Space filled with rattle, chiming, chirping, tweeting, buzzing and crunching from the cicadas, crickets, birds, bugs, trail steps
A few more yellow leaves speckle path
Daddy long legs cross path so does a tiny brown-orange toad
Looking up through illuminated green to the dappled speckled bright blue
Unfortunate choice of stepping through the edge of a gorgeous glistening active spider web crossing the entire path
Greeted by rejoicing chiming ringing crickets and lovely earthy scents of the prairie
Bounding butterflies
Shadowed cover of great bird
Tiny orange butterflies flock to orange flowers
Ensconced back in the woods surrounded by ebbs and flows of crickets and cicadas
Damp, stony scent of trickling Creek
Orangey, herbal scents
Doe and two fawns wait and watch cautiously at the top of the trail before scampering away
Energy, ideas
