Clear blue sky
Soft crushed leaf-covered trails
Active birds calling, chirping, hopping
Squirrels and chipmunks rummage in the leaves
Cracks of acorns and nuts skipping down the branches
Crickets singing under the leaves
Scent of fall leaves so strong you can taste it
Owl calls
Lots of browns, rust, and oranges with pops of bright red, yellow and bright greens down low
Sun catches leaves and illuminates
Shiny glistening newly barren branches
Wind breathes sound into leaves and branches
Leaves gently and slowly go down to kiss the ground
Creeks barely trickle
Subdued colors, soft fuzzy flowers, subtle ringing crickets in the Prairie
Deep comforting thunks of large creek-crossing rocks
Gorgeous late fall day
