Little yellow, white, and purple flowers poking up
Sun attempts to peek from behind the clouds
Green tips of daffodil leaves reach up eagerly for the Sun
Few remaining pale peach-orange tree leaves, now been bleached almost white
Stillness in the forest without wind; trees at attention
Determined knocking of woodpecker in the distance
Branches glisten and soak in the Sun
Ferns enlivening with green
Sweet, subtle, damp, earthy scent of Prairie preparing to feed new growth
Faint scent of spring
All things patiently soaking in the effortless, powerful energy of the Sun
