Other groups of geese float in 1N and gather on the OG sandbar
Continuous rhythms of swishing branches in the breeze
Cardinals flash brilliantly amidst the browns
Flitting and rustling of busy birds in the brush
Sun disappears again
Look closely into the browns and tans to find subtle spots of rose, red, yellow, purple, and green
Kingfisher machine-guns around the northern edges of 5
So much of 3/4E has become dry land
Retreat of the sun leaves cold slate-filled skies
Deep, clear green-blue water
Family of white-tailed deer leap over path into the trees
Calm, cold and grey, yet filled with activity
