First day of a new year
Stunning sparkling water
Gorgeous Sunny morning after many days of rain
Birds of every kind sing out
Gorgeous Purple Martin song is back
Brilliant, breathtaking, bejeweled water
Sandbar sinks back with rising water
New paddle kisses water perfectly
Sun illuminates the new bright green growth
First time back in 4SE since water levels started rising
Sweet scents swirl in 4SE
Sounds of turtle bellies sliding on rocks
Geese call from their nesting Island over in 6
Redbuds leave sporadic hints of pinks amidst the brightest greens
Lone goose still nests on island in 1N
Blue heron lifts up silently from banks of 1W
Green heron couple back(!) up in 1W trees
Such sweet intoxicating scents surround entire lake
1N beaver dam shadowed by bright greens and red bud pinks
Goose left her neck to go snack on some grass
Turtle heads in clay waters
Mergansers deftly navigate sparkles
Such brilliant magnificence
