Cool windy afternoon
Birds loving the peace of the wind – so many new ones
Bald eagle flies over 4S
Great Blue Heron searches for perfect Bank
New flock of visiting birds with their black hats and gray coats*
Goose couples float with their new baby puffs
Turkey vultures sore high up above
My green heron pops from banks to branches in 1N
Purple martins dip and dive and skin the water’s surface
Mallards float quietly on alert
Red-tailed hawk surveys staying close to turkey vultures
White fuzz drifts swiftly and crash-melts onto surface
White fuzz like snow lines edges of 1N
Shadow of paddlefish in 1N
Breathtaking brilliant vibrant waters
Greenest greens ever seen
Practically surfing the wake when paddling South
Such strength and power
