Lovely quiet breezy day
Crickets ringing
Grasshoppers ratcheting vibrations
Turtles slide from banks and plunk into waters
Water levels continue to drop, despite Helene’s recent showers
Bees make the most of what’s left of purple asters
Four cormorants wait on 1N perches
Spider web blankets glisten over rocks
Diamond studded sparkling banks
Monarchs making their way westerly across the lake
Gentle rustling from constant breeze
