Morning goose feathers left on smooth waters
So many fish splashes from jumps in 1
Softness of sun, opaqued by misty clouds
Tens of shadows of paddlefish lurk in 1SE
Floating feathers and leaves disrupt paddling on clouds
Only traces left of fallen deer from weeks ago:
-Clean bones, hooves and bits of hide
Just one cormorant glides proudly today
Turtles peek up and plunge back down
So breathtaking, so lovely
