Turtles relaxing on rocks and logs
Soft bright green climbs higher in tree lines
Cormorants back, flying overhead
Submerged beaver dam appears smaller
Gloriously sparkling wind-wrinkled water
Water levels submerge all landmarks in 1
No more islands, only thin strip of the OG sandbar
New green glows, soaking in the Sun
Lilac pinks of Red Buds emerging in the greens
Silent sullen, nestless geese gather in 4SE
4SE rocks and islands – now submerged
Visiting mergansers float in single file line
And just like that – they take off and glide easily into flight
High energy percolates
