Cormorant Is Back!

6/27/2024, water R, 65stingray, 2:20-4:30pm

Wind: 8mph from NE
OC: 6+

Constant Breeze, breathing trees
Geese perfectly still and aligned along 3/4 sandbar
Turtles recede from rocks into water
Plumes of silt evidence fleeing giant carp in shallow Waters
Purple martins dip, dive and sip
Great mullein starting to sprout yellow flowers
Turtles lounge on Beaver Dam
Cormorant is back – found the tiny tip of his exposed branch
-spreads his wings in the sun
Water moves and twinkles beautifully
Flocks (at least 5 or 6!) of quiet geese floating and grazing
Quiet, muffled with the hush of wind
