Lovely musty fall scent fills the air
Yellows, oranges, reds and greens
Soft crunchy steps on leaf-carpeted trails
Golden light Illuminating yellow-orange trees which cover most of the perfect blue sky
Foraging squeaks, chirps and rustles
Wind lifts leaves off branches and gently carries them softly to the forest floor
Nuts and acorns clunk their way down branches, landing with a thud
Wind bending grasses in the Prairie
Soft rose, tans, chocolate browns, greens, yellows, reds and orange of the Prairie
Red berries changing to orangey-yellow
Crickets muffled by winds and crunching leaves
Deflated flat black banana seed pods and cracked-open walnut shells quilting the trail
Light, uplifting!
