Gorgeous quiet peaceful fall afternoon
End of daylight savings
Soft calm of crickets
Chirping birds
Newly exposed rock in the shallowing waters
Water glistens and shines brilliantly
Most leaves now cover the ground and trails (except low greens and red berry shrubs)
Few specklings of orange, red and yellow leaves
Fluffy brown and cream-colored plants, wheats and grasses
Clusters of white gnats bouncing and circling
Glistening threads stretch across the trail
Sweet scent of recently dropped brain fruit
Soft, subtle, yet vibrant colors
Thankful for Ters on this stunning day
