Wild Bergamot Blooms

6/27/2023, red R, 9:30-11:30

Cool, fresh, misty morning
Crickets confidently ring
Completely surrounded by green
Rustles and scampers through lush, leafy forest floor
New mushrooms sprout from decadent and lively logs
Birds chirp and call contentedly
Group of wood thrushes chat vociferously
Quiet calm of breeze brushing tree tops deep in the forest
Forest opens to prairie, filled with even greater chorus of crickets
Roses and pinks emerging in the prairie
Waving trees gently beckon imminent rain
Wild bergamot blooms, black-eyed susans, fruiting raspberries and vibrant butterfly weed
Such sweet, alluring herbal essences of the prairie
Favorite creaking tree continues to talk to the forest
Silent deer changes direction with agile grace and speed
Tiny bright red fungus quite conspicuous out on it’s dark host
Impressive take off and landing of a pileated woodpecker
Similarities ever-striking: fractals in nature, fractals in the human body, fractals in the universe – all interconnected, all one in the same
